Consider an object that is sacred to you.
Perhaps it is associated with a powerful memory, or it came to you under odd circumstances. Whatever the case, as you reflect upon this object, I am sure you will notice that its sacredness has something to do with its associations—either it symbolically represents an otherworldly power, or some sort of event imbued the object with a greater salience and animacy.
