Collective messages are prose poems that can be used as creative inspiration, spiritual guidance, or for entertainment purposes. They are based on a set of cards, runes, and numbers I pull intuitively every Wednesday.
Below you will find the message in both audio and text format. If you’d like to receive the message more deeply, try reading and listening simultaneously!
These messages are timeless, which means they are relevant to whenever you feel drawn to them.
If you don’t find any resonance here, feel free to survey past messages. If you are seeking guidance, there may be something there for you!
Terrifying, isn’t it? To admit that you might have enemies.
For it would mean admitting to yourself that your work in the world is needed.
Your very existence, in all of its enormity, is threatening to the powers that be. It is imperative that those powers are threatened.
The fullness of you is not just needed. It is required.
And that is terrifying.
Because not everyone wants you in your power. Tempting though it may be to focus on the positive in any given situation, the truth of the matter is that we are at war.
We are at war with our own land-mother, with our own inner being, with each other, with reality.
You have already endured such sabotage at the hands of those who would do anything to keep you small.
Your smallness is but a fatal falsehood. Your enormity is required.
It is a heavy burden to bear, yes—but so are the consequences of staying on the surface, as opposed to diving into the waters of your unfathomable being.
I cannot promise you won’t drown. But I can promise you won’t survive the struggle to stay above the depths.
Something beckons you from below. It very well could be a monster. But if so, it is your monster—your Leviathan to be tamed. In those dark chasms, a beast waits to become a servant.
Master the beast so that you can give of yourself. So that you can give all of yourself.
And you will never find envious hands at your blessed throat again.
You were meant to be surrounded with the ones who see what you see. You were meant to be kept safe and holy like the temples once lovingly tended by the oracles and the warriors.
A beast is but a guardian dying for a job to do.
A heart need not be guarded when it has guardians. This world wants your heart beating brave and wild, filled with the vigor of knowing you can trust.
Cast a circle of eyes so sharp that you will never again need a sword.

Scorpio
Passion, mystery, and drama make Scorpio both fascinating and challenging. Deeply sensitive, the Scorpion can lash out in self-protection if threatened, or withdraw in secretiveness and depression. Scorpio’s intense nature also shows in loyalty and love that can go overboard into obsession if not kept in check.

Generosity
I give generously to those around me, no matter how much (or how little) I have. I know there is more than enough to go around, and that the key is to allow it to keep going around without stopping. If I stop the flow, I’m like the one person at the stadium who doesn’t do the wave.

For less than $2 per week, you can access all sections of the Wednesday “Ritual Reflections” newsletter, in addition to the tarot poem:
☆ Song of the week: a song that feels relevant to the vibe of the week.
☆ Quote of the week: a quote from one of the books I read during the week.
☆ Ritual reflections: sometimes, I’ll post articles exploring ritual theory. Other times, I’ll post musings and reflections based on personal experiences. Often times, it will be a combination of both.
Here’s an excerpt from the latest Ritual Reflections newsletter.
It is mastery of the Awen, the muse, the spirit of “divine inspiration” that the poets of old trained so rigorously to achieve. That which we feed our imaginations daily becomes the foundation for all our creative endeavours.
The simplest walk around the block can merge with an early childhood memory to become the greatest horror story never told. A spectacular date can rendezvous with an unconscious fear of commitment and make amends through warring colours on a canvas. That coworker you can’t stand is an evil sorcerer waiting to haunt your dreams, as soon as you complete your most recent rewatch of The Chronicles of Narnia.
Let not your dreams be explained away by the language of contemporary psychology. Let them be magical. Let them be messages. Let them be windows into a world beyond the one we can touch and see.
Fill your head with fantasies.
Paid subscribers also have access to exclusive audio content:
☆ Orphic EPs: 3-to-4 song EPs that I release to my Bandcamp at seasonal thresholds, featuring hymns, original songs, folk music from various cultures, and even quirky covers from movies and musicals.

☆ Class recordings: recordings of any of the live lectures I give on transrational divination, inspiration practise, and imaginal-somatics.
